Meet Our People

Samuel Brouff
Practice Director, Principal Solicitor

Samuel Brouff is the legal practice director, principal solicitor and founder of Boyd Migration & Legal. He chose the firm name 'Boyd' Migration & Legal because 'Boyd' is a punchy one syllable word which combines neatly with its neighbours to form the acronym 'BML'. Boyd was the name of Sam’s great-aunt's husband.

Sam combines immigration law experience with his time as a lawyer with a national insurance and torts law practice. Sam has settled civil law cases at mediation, conducted civil cases at State and Federal Courts, conducted migration law Reviews at Tribunals and managed 100s of successful applications to the Department of Home Affairs.

Sam delivers skilled sponsor visa program management to medium to large organisations in the medical and health sectors. He is known for delivering results in complex migration cases in the family, character and business sponsor compliance areas.

Sam’s clear and compelling written submissions give good prospects of successful outcomes. More of a writer than an oral advocate, he has been known to run a case from the local court bar.
